New York Yankees’ pitcher Phil Hughes met with a specialist in St. Louis Monday to discuss his “dead” pitching arm that lost its ability to throw pitches of high velocity this season. Hughes visited to determine if he is suffering from a condition that affects blood flow called thoracic outlet syndrome.
Information concerning the results of his appointment have yet to be released.
